Dr. Brent Plaxico received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2002 and then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in 2006. After graduation, he practiced in the Columbia, SC area for 8 years, owning and managing his own clinics in Camden and Blythewood, SC for 6 years. In 2015, Dr. Plaxico sold his clinics and moved back to Oklahoma.
Dr. Plaxico holds licenses to practice in Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas, and is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians.
Dr. Plaxico joined the staff at Advantage EyeCare of Skiatook in December 2016 and brings his expertise providing quality family eye care.
Dr. Plaxico is originally from Stillwater, OK and spent some of his teenage years living in Park Hill, OK around Lake Tenkiller, with his grandparents. He enjoys spending his free time with his family.
